  • What insurances do you accept?
We do not accept insurance at this time. You can submit the superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement.
  • I’m not sure if this is covered by insurance, where do I go to find out?"
Call the number on your insurance card to see if speech therapy is covered. Often you will need a referral from a pediatrician.
  • Do you do feeding/swallowing therapy?
Feeding is not part of my practice currently. I can make a referral for feeding therapy if desired.
  • How do I get a Doctor’s referral?
Ask your pediatrician at your next appointment or call about your speech or language concerns and ask them for an appointment.
  • What languages do you speak?
    I speak English and Spanish.
  • Who will partake in therapy? Is it just the patient or are parents welcome?
Both patients and the parents are welcome. We do a debrief with parents at the end and homework is encouraged. Learn more about our approach here.
  • Where do you practice?
We are exclusively virtual and home-based (your home, so we come to you). We want therapy to be as convenient as possible.
  • Do you do virtual therapy?
Yes! The majority of clients prefer to meet virtually at this time.
  • Do you only treat children?
No. We do treat adults by request only. Contact The Brink Link to learn more.
  • How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?
If you are noticing your child gets easily frustrated with communicating or is not developing at the same rate as their peers, there may be a need. If you suspect your child may have a speech challenge, we recommend consulting with your pediatrician or contacting us to voice your concerns. If you aren’t sure what is typical, please contact us and we can help point you in the right direction.
  • What protections are you taking for COVID?
Teletherapy and using proper PPE (Mask or clear plexiglass, hand sanitation, social distancing) for in person therapy.
